Eating Healthy as You Grow Older

This is an excellent site with good info and nice, 5-6 minute video clips that you could show seniors if you have a projector and on-line access or at least include the link in your newsletters so they could view it and or read it on their own. The sections are very basic, broken down into sections, easy to read, practical and there is a little quiz at the end of each section to check their knowledge. This could be used as nutrition ed, again, if you have a projector you could click thru the 2-3 sentence sections and then click next and have discussion as you go and the group could do the quiz at the end, or again, they could do this on their own. There is also a printer-friendly version.

Section One: Benefits of Eating Well
Section Two: How to Eat Well
Section Three: How to Eat Safely
Section Four:  How to Shop Wisely
Frequently Asked Questions (these would be great to use as newsletter tidbits)
Videos (they are short, some only 24 seconds, and none of them is longer than 6 minutes)
Medline Plus (lots of excellent information)
